a friend of mine chanced upon this keyboard and recommended it to me. I will say that as someone that's new to mech keyboards, I think the v84 was a really good choice. 75% is a nice compact size, switches come pre-lubed, and sound wise it's pretty quiet overall for a mech keyboard and a pretty nice sound imo. The only issues I'm having are with the space bar which is a bit awkward and a bit oversensitive for my liking, and also has a slight rattle. In conclusion, definitely a worthwhile purchase, would definitely be interested in checking out future pre-built releases from Vissles!
I have ordered the product and received it in less than one week. The keyboard came with the neatly packed... package, which I did not have doubts about. The keyboard is extremely well lubed (the first thing you notice), and keycaps are firm and well fit the finger. The main issue I have is In software. You are unable to rebind the FN button (I would love to have it left from space, under the thumb), and you can't rebind FN+ combos, which are for my annoyance. After using HHKB It's really missing this feature, as arrows are slight too far-right to be efficiently grabbed. Same with end, home, delete. I would LOVE to rebind my keyboard to for example have FN+Backspace = delete, or FN+j =
I bought this for work and do data entry for 8 hours every day, so this leveled, sturdy and quiet keyboard really matters. The Magnetic feet can lift my keyboard steady. It said that switches are pre-lubed, which really saves my time and energy. I really like the way it feels. I also love the fact that I can use it with my Mac and switch it between my devices. It's definitely worth my bucks.
Loving this keyboard for it's price. It looks super nice and clean! The switches sound VERY NICE and there's no pinging issue with any of the keys (stabilizers included). The spacebar could use a bit of lube or something to dampen the sound, but it's not a huge issue if you're a casual.
My only two issues with this is that the shift key on the right side is 1.5 instead of a standard 2.75. I ordered the HyperX keycaps without taking this into account and now it looks funky with just the shift key being stock.
Second issue is the operating force of the VS Switches: they activation force is around 45gf and it takes veryy little pressure for it to input. When I'm resting my fingers on WASD, sometimes I push down too much and it activates. Could be because I'm switching from the Cherry MX Browns (tacticle switch) to linear switches and I'm not comfortable yet.
The keyboard itself is nice, no complaints. I just don't like the customer service of the company. It's unresponsive, as it takes a long time to reply to messages. Also, after I ordered, no automatic updates were given by Vissles. I had to make the follow-up myself. After my item my shipped, there was no proper coordination with the shipper. Even after I paid for everything, I still had to make payments after my item was delivered to me. Totally not cool. Would not recommend purchasing from you.
